Application
Ferric Chloride mainly used as water purifier for drinking water and sedimentation agent for wastewater treatment. Used in dyeing industry as oxidizer and mordant for dyeing indigo dye. Organic synthesis dichloroethane and other production catalyst. Chlorination extractant for silver and copper ore. An etch for photographic and printing plates. A raw material for ferrous salts such as iron phosphate, medicine, pigments and inks. The solution can increase building strength, corrosion resistance and prevent water seepage after penetrating into building concrete. Used for electronic circuit board and fluorescent digital tube production. Condensing agent when glycerin is recovered from waste iiquid of soap production .
Precautions
Emergency response to leakage
Isolate the contaminated area and set up warning signs around it. It is recommended that emergency personnel wear gas masks and chemical protective clothing. Do not directly contact the leaked material, avoid dust, collect and transport it to a waste disposal site for disposal. Dissolve it in a Water, b. acid, or c Oxidation to an aqueous solution state, followed by precipitation reaction with sulfide, and then disposal. You can also rinse with a large amount of water, and dilute the washing water into the wastewater system. If there is a large amount of leakage, collect, recycle or dispose of it harmlessly before disposal.
Protective measures
Respiratory protection: When exposed to dust, dust masks should be worn. Wear a gas mask when necessary.
Eye protection: Wear chemical safety goggles.
Protective clothing: Wear work clothes (made of anti-corrosion materials).
Hand protection: Wear rubber gloves.
